There is no doubt that we need time to work out our plans. Field time is invaluable but we do have to consider that these are some gifted boys who have been perfecting their game all year long. We put this team together to win but when mother nature pushes, it is sometimes best to let her win. So it may seem strange to go into this weekend without practice but our boys are tuned up and with some rest, they just might be unstoppable!

We had planned to practice tonight but with field prep, school permits, and work schedules, we need to cancel that. We will however still need to meet to check in for the Shamrock Tournament tonight by the snack bar. All players must be there so please text call or email Ana to confirm you will be there. It was wonderful to see the team together! We all want to welcome Jason Garcia and Manuel Robles to our elite family. The type of participation we had out there tonight will bring us the type of success we dream of! Thank you all for such a wonderful start.We have sizes and #'s! We have a great opportunity to get us closer to Hawaii! The kids TV show Brain Surge is offering us $10 per person to sit in the audience while they film the show. Let's not miss the chance to add $300 to our cause. They want folks from 8 to 88! We will meet at 1:30 in the Glendora WalMart Parking Lot to drive over to Hollywood Center Studios. We must check in at 2:30 and should be done by 5:30. Bring the kids, their friends, the nieces and nephews!

Laughlin is in the Pacific Standard Time Zone but Bullhead is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone, that means that when it is 8 am in Laughlin, it is 9 am in Bullhead. The playing schedule is in Arizona time so make sure that you make the adjustment.

We didn't get to practice much this week. We have scheduled a player meeting for Friday evening in Laughlin/ Bullhead. It is just a change to go over some positioning and strategy on the chalkboard with the kids. We will look for a pizza place to make it friendly and comfortable. We have such a big week ahead of us! With Victorville only hours past, we need to work on Bullhead that is only days away. Make sure that you have your accommodations made. It is a big weekend in Bullhead/ Laughlin. Just 40 min away, Lake Havasu City is hosting the worlds largest fireworks competition. Rooms are filling fast!
